All Day in The Train

Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy
When did our normal morning routine in Rome (wake up, eat breakfast at Rick's café, etc), then headed to the train station. Our train left at 11:30 AM and we arrived at Rimini train station around 5 PM (we had one connecting train).

As soon as we left the train station, we started out strong. Our hotel (hotel Cortina) was only supposed to be about a 20 minute walk from the train station, and we wanted to get there quickly to maybe get a chance to go to the beach for a little bit.

After walking about 8 minutes, we realized we were walking in the complete opposite direction of where we needed to be heading. We turned around and made our way back to the train station. Redirecting ourselves, we began our walk in the correct direction to the hotel.

Arriving at the hotel around 5:40, we got checked in. Unfortunately, to use the room air conditioner we would have had to pay extra, so we skipped that option. We dropped our bags, got changed, and headed toward the beach.

The beach was only about a 5 minute walk from our hotel, so we reached it quickly. The water was not very clear, the waves were not very strong, I guess I am used to the Atlantic….

We swam about 35 minutes and then found a pizza restaurant. I had a pizza margherita and Dilyara had a vegetarian pizza. We split a half liter of the house white wine and just relaxed a bit. Our relaxation was cut short by some people smoking near us and we decided to head back to the room.

Since the weather was super hot, neither of us slept very well.
