Rudesheim am Rhein, Hesse, Germany
Stopped at Rudesheim. While we are on our excursion this afternoon they will be putting Perspex protectors over the portholes. This is because they have to add ballast to make the ship sit a lot lower in the water so that we fit under the bridges in the next part of the cruise. They will have to put in more later but at present the water is part way up our porthole.

The excursion was interesting . It was to a mechanical music museum. Many lovely old "instruments". Then walked along to the Christmas shop and bought a decoration.

Back to the boat and after dinner went through our first 2 locks of 68 joining the river Main to the Danube. Interesting . Only inches on either side in the second one. Photos slightly out of order. The Lorelei photo should be before we reached Rudesheim
