We are all packed up and ready to go. Our flight tomorrow is at 11.55 which is very civilized, we can get up at our normal time and have breakfast before we have to leave the house. I have pre-booked a visit to and a meal at the Sky Tower in Auckland plus a recommended place in Blenheim, apart from that we will take it as it comes apart from one place where the owner is a chef and we have dinner included. One place we won't be eating at is the 2 Michelin Star Chinese Restaurant in our HK hotel, £268 for the set dinner or £368 with wine pairing, that's each. Our half day heritage tour in HK has been cancelled so we will do a hop on hop off bus tour instead, our day tour to Lantau Island is OK except the cable car over the bay has had to be closed due to fraying cables! We arrive in HK at 07.30 but we can check into our hotel straight away, probably have a shower and a few hours sleep before heading out for a look around. It depends on Fiona as I tend to travel better than her which puzzles us both as it's generally me who sleeps the longest, gets up latest etc.
