Grenadines
Up at 06.00 again just as it was getting light. We had a light breakfast outside in the sunshine, it was very quiet with not many people about until about 08.00. Today is a day at sea, there is a full programme of activities if you want to get involved in anything, table tenni, tap dancing, quoits, bridge, a couple of talks and of course if you want you can eat around the clock. Fiona went to the gym mid-morning but came back to where I was sunbathing on the top deck feeling queasy again. There was a bit more movement today as the wind had picked up slightly but nothing severe. Anyway she went to buy some acupressure bands from the shop, I don't think she is too keen on the tablets as they messed with her head a bit. By 11.30 I felt as if I had had enough sunshine so went inside to read for a bit. At noon the bridge gave some info out on our heading, due north 150 miles off the coast of St Lucia, speed of 11 knots with an outside temperature of 28C or 82F. We are heading to Guadeloupe where we are tomorrow, although I knew it was French territory and we can use of phones there I didn't think to bring any Euros with us, I have about €100 at home left over from Majorca in June, now I will have to get some more tomorrow so we can grab a coffee or a beer when we are out and about.
