Dubai, United Arab Emirates
And we were off again on our final day to do as much as possible before we all started our individual journeys out of Dubai and back to Brisbane.

We started the day aboard a mini-bus with our own private tour guide showing us the sights of the "Superlative" Dubai with much emphasis on how Dubai takes the best of the world over and makes it just that much better . It does beg the question why don't they make something kick ass of their own and show that off instead?

But it is all pretty impressive and big. The old fashioned gold and spice souks were definitely a high light as that was characteristically middle eastern. The heat was unbelievable though. After just 20-30 minutes outside the air conditioned vehicle and we were all struggling to cope. So sightseeing was a fast and furious event.

The tour ended at the Dubai mall where there was a rush to eat and get kids sorted out as The Dennings and Sophios' kids were going back to Atlantis for a Dolphin Adventure, the other young boys were keen to try out the kidzone playing arena and the remainder of the girls were keen on shopping up a storm. Natalie and Angela has a civilized time out at an Arabian restaurant in side the mall which came with built in entertainment.

After wards Natalie left everyone to their adventures at the mall, including the light and water show outside the Burj Kalifa later that night, to go to the aquarium which is part of Atlantis and is pretty spectacular. We followed this with some breathtakingly expensive room service dinner, saying goodbye to the Days who were leaving after midnight and packing our bags for our own long flight home in the morning.
