Hopefully the last day in Denmark

Klintholm Havn, Zealand, Denmark
As we knew we'd be here for the day, we had a bit of a lie-in, not too much as we had to be up and about to pay our harbour dues during the 07:30 – 08:30 time slot that the office was occupied (no machine here), then had breakfast of bacon & egg. It’s funny how absolutely right a breakfast of bacon & eggs is, especially when you’re not in a hurry.

After said breakfast, I busied myself replacing some of the brass spotlights, the ones on the boat are looking quite corroded, and generally pottered and read until lunch time . By now the intermittent showers had cleared and the sky was blue but the wind was still howling and it was very chilly. This meant that the only thing to do was to 'chill’ and with the exception of a brief interlude where we braved the elements and went for a walk on the beach, we didn’t leave the boat. I spent a goodly chunk of time catching up with the blog and after dinner of oven-baked pork chops and potatoes, we watched an episode of ‘The Killing’ and retired to bed, hoping that the wind dies and that we can cross over to Sweden in the morning.
