Got our international driving licenses on Saturday which was a very prompt response. We also headed off to a 'Visa Surgery' in Nottingham to get our Indian Visas sorted out. Got there just before lunch in time to grab a queue ticket before heading off for some lunch for ourselves. When we got back we waited for about half an hour and that was it ! 2 stamped visas/passports for India.
