Wednesday 16th June - Darwin - Alice Springs
Awakened to the sound of TV for the first time in nearly 4 weeks
. Headed to a place called 'Montys' for a fry-up and scrambled eggs to clear the hangovers. Caught the shuttle bus to the airport after a couple of confusing signs as to how it all worked. Took off for Alice Springs at 2.30 and arrived at 4.20pm (no time difference between the 2 places) - no free wine on the flight which was very disappointing! Jumped on another shuttle bus to take us to our motel. Went for a walk up town to try and suss out our trip to Ayer's Rock. Lucky there was a place open so we booked a trip with an overnight stay and food included. We headed for a KFC and back for an early night due to an early start (5am) tomorrow.
