The trip up the mountain section was glorious with a lengthy section where the snow was falling gently. 

 We had to travel slowly - the landscape was superb .

The snow finally turned to rain and then cleared to have ray's of sunshine bathing the Skye Bridge. 

What a welcome!

We spend a night in Portree in a dinky little B&B - all lace and ruffles. In the morning we wake to find everything covered in snow.

Last minute shopping and we wend our way via Dunvegan to 6 Fasach Glendale.
