Last Day in London Spent with the Family

London, England, United Kingdom
I was born in England, in Oxford, and I have lots of cousins and an aunt still in the UK.  Whenever we get the chance we try to set aside one day to catch up with family and today was to be that day.  My Aunt and one cousin lives in Aylesbury and another cousin lives nearby in the countryside so we caught a train from Marylebone Station to Aylesbury.
My cousin H picked us up at Aylesbury station and drove us to Aunt S’s house where my other cousin M joined us for coffee.  We had a look at Aunt’s beautiful garden, cousin H is quite a well known bonsai specialist, and uses Aunt’s garden as his workspace.  Even in the middle of winter, it is quite spectacular.
We left Aunt S to rest, and H drove us into Aylesbury to a pub named The Plough and the four us had lunch with was lovely.  After spending the afternoon with them, M drove G and I back to the station for our last evening in London.
Our daughter and her partner S and L joined us for final drinks at Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese before we sadly said goodbye until next time.  G and I returned to Apex Temple Court to pack our bags and eat Toasted Sandwiches from room service.
Bye bye London until next time.
