When we woke the next morning we could see the German town of Dusseldorf from our balcony.  Shortly after lunch onboard, we were able to leave the Pearl for our included walking tour of Cologne.

At each stop we had a choice of tours, some simply walking tours, others on buses.  To avoid disappointment it was best to prebook your tours, which could be done on line before leaving home.

We very much enjoyed our tour of Cologne, which naturally included the famous cathedral.  After the guided tour we had some free time to wander around and take lots more photos, including some good shots of the Scenic Pearl from the Hohenzollernbrucke in Cologne.

After getting back on board, we had pre-dinner drinks and the nightly shore talk explaining what the next day would bring.  After dinner there was music quiz in the lounge.
