Baden Baden and a Lost Phone

Baden-Baden, Baden-Württemberg, Germany
Today we arrived in Baden Baden.  Unfortunately, G wasn’t feeling too good, and had succumbed to the cold that he had been fighting since the start of the cruise.  We joined the guided walking tour of Baden Baden, which was a very pretty town.  We were given a tour of the Roman Baths.  As usual, we then had free time so we wandered at our own pace, explored more of the town and the Casino and finally sat for a coffee in a café.
Once we returned to the ship, we realised that G had lost his phone.  It was too late to backtrack and return to Baden Baden as the Pearl was about to sail.  To this day, we have no idea if it was dropped, stolen, or simply left by accident in the café in Baden Baden.
There was also an opportunity that afternoon to do a tour of the ship’s galley.  It was incredible how so much food was produced in such a small space.  G did not come to the kitchen, due to his cold, but I thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
That evening was our second special meal, this time at Portobello’s the ship’s Italian restaurant.  G did not feel well enough to join us, so I went by myself and he ate in the cabin and rested.  The dinner was very good, but not quite the same without G.
