Vienna, Vienna, AustriaThis morning we walked in
the other direction to a cafe called Joma for a heartier breakfast than we had been having at
Zanoni and Zanonia. After we had
finished eating we met up with S and J to catch the Ubahn to Schonnbrun Palace.
The morning was spent
exploring this lovely palace along with its fabulous gardens and the Gloriette.
After a few hours at the
palace, we headed back to town and had a quick lunch at TGI Fridays.
The afternoon was spent
at the Belvedere, exploring the history and the wonderful collection of Klimt
paintings.
Pre-dinner drinks were on
our balcony at Hotel Lamee overlooking the city and the cathedral.
The four of us went to
Placutta for dinner where we all ate traditional Tafelspitz, which was a wonderful
experience.
A very enjoyable day.
