I had made it to Serge's and was totally beat.  So I spent some relaxing time with Theo and Serge, then went on a bike ride with Candae, Merced and Brenda.  I spent more time at Candae's this trip since Nikki and Serge were in the middle of buying and selling houses.  Candae was busy with work, but I did get to go on some walks and outings with her and Merced and with Brenda so that was fun.  The crowning glory of the the outings was the sunflower photo shoot with Candae, Merced and Brenda.  I spent some of my days hanging out at Serge's since he was working at home, joining her for lunch and then maybe going on a walk with him and Theo once Theo got home from school.  I also got to help Theo with his Spanish homework (even though I never studied Spanish, I could quiz him with his flash cards.

Since I had been having trouble with my Subaru, I needed to have it looked at.  It turned into a bit of a problem getting an appointment.  I got one for later in the first week and they said I could try to bring it in and wait in line, but when I told them what the problem was, they told me that was only for simple things, like oil changes.  So I waited and then they had problems getting the wheel bearing off because of rust, so it took longer than expected.  But Carr's came through in the end and even gave me a discount for the extra wait.
