Our morning routine was pretty much the same as yesterday.   Marilynn did change from cereal to parts of the full Welsh breakfast.  We walked down the hill to the bus stop and caught the bus for Beaumaris.  Things are beginning to look familiar.  We were quite early for the cruise.  We checked into our cruise (Starida Puffin Island Cruises) and switched from Marilynn paying to my paying, but Marilynn had discovered that they billed her 20 extra pounds.  We sat it different places waiting for the boat to leave.
We boarded at 12:20 pm and found seats in the second to the last row but they were a little squinched.  Luckily no one sat in our row, so I could spread out.  I never really got any clear shots so was a bit disappointed with my photos but Marilynn had an unobstructed view on the way back so she is sending me some of her pics that I am missing like the sailboat with the red sails that I had wanted to take.  There were a lot of great sailboasts out sailing in Marai Straight.  It was a bit hazy today today because of the increase in temperature and humidity.
While we cruised, they pointed out the sights - including a monastery on one point, a quarry, stone pier, some sort of factory building, some estate I think that has been turned into a deluxe resort with a golf course and some of the coast guard facilties surrounding the lighthouse.  On Puffin Island there was a building with a smokestack on top.  We heard about the migratory birds, including puffins and guillimots and razorbills that nest here plus two kinds of gulls.   There are also supposed to be seals and one of our passengers said he saw a seal near the island.  I did not see it though.
The cruise took about an hour.  It actually seemed longer to me.  When we got back on Victorian Pier, I thought about getting some photos of Welsh sea resort life so I snapped a few pool shots and some photos of kids fishing for little crabs off the pier.  Marilynn got a good photo of a teen-age boy.  We both wished we had taken a photo of the teenage girl who had bunches of big crabs in two buckets that we had been watching before the cruise left.
After our cruise we went back to yesterday's restaurant for our lunch.  Marilynn had a toasted cheese sandwich and I tried the ploghman's lunch that had a bap (roll) and lots of cheese triangles.  I also had some pickled onions that were were a bit too much for me, some salad, cole slaw and a very nice chutney.  From there we went in search of St Mary's Church where there is a mausoleum for Joan, wife of King John - the good King John.   We met a couple attached to the church who were very nice and gave us extra info and showed us the crypt of the Balkeley's the famous local family who were missing their alabaster fingers and toes becausse they supposedly cured toothaches.
We hit the restroom and then walked to the bus stop, waiting while one car after another parked in the bus stop lane.  The bus finally came a bit late and we got back to Bangor.  Marilynn opted for the walk back up the hill.  After a bit on the path, we disagreed which path to take from at split-off.  I thought the one on the right looked right and and looked like the one I had photographed and sent to Kara.  Marilynn thought the one on the left was the one.  We each followed our chosen path.  I got to the top and discovered it was the right one and tried called Marilynn's name but she didn't respond.  Finally I saw her coming up the path.  We walked back to the Management Centre and began on our chores.  Marilynn sorted out our bus route for tomorrow.  I have had problems with the wi-fi here and now my g-mail is all screwed up.  I don't know how to fix it.  So I moved on to working on the blog and then I will try to upload my photos.
