Loriga, Guarda, Portugal
We drove 3 1/2hrs to Torre, the highest point in Portugal. Up up up we went where the road in front appeared to disappear at times. But what a view we were rewarded with at the top of the mountain, breathtaking...
We met our friends Steve and Leanne there in Ace and little Jake the Beagle before heading back down the mountain
. On our way down and not ever experiencing anything like this before our brakes overheated and failed!!! They only failed at low speed and we narrowly avoided rolling into the back of Ace! We pulled over and allowed the brakes to cool before continuing our decent with more use of low gears..!
