The Dutch owners Liddy and Merkel arranged for us to walk into Vila Nova de Oliveirinha the local village Sunday evening as a local bar cooks 'Frango' Bbq Chicken n Chips.
So Steve and Leanne and the two other Dutch campers made the eight up and we arrived at the barn/garage for what turned out to be a extremely tasty and funny evening
.
The owners didn't speak any English and were very Portuguese, but this was a regular for the Dutch Camperstop owners.
Beers and Wine flowed, so did the Frango and even the paint brush to apply the Piri Piri got used once or twice! As the evening went on it became apparent Gloria had a soft spot for Giles, and our Dutch Camperstop owners had a great sense of humour, they had even formed a opinion of Giles over a couple of days and had come up with a nickname Basil (Fawlty Towers) as I was crazy funny Englishman..! Basil stuck all night!!!
