Elephant Aire...

Penagos, Cantabria, Spain and Canary Islands
We arrived Cabárceno and a nice Aire that's adjacent to Cabárceno Wildlife Park, home to many species of wild animals including Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Bears to name a few. Less than 100m is the Elephant Area, a huge open and natural space for them to roam.

We arrived late and after viewing the elephants we had a couple of beers before dinner that we cooked, all was fine as a glass of red washed dinner down until Stephen poisoned me with his neat Jack Daniels that made for a uncomfortable following day ...!

Tuesday night we prepared some A4 paper posters with some funny comments we had thought of for Stephen, Leanne and Jake as today is the day they catch the Santander Ferry back to the UK after 18months away on the road, it should bring a smile when they wake up...!

Well I didn't expect to see elephants! I think the beach we stayed at in Noja was Playa de Ris if you fancy having a look.
