Our good ship Skadi pulled into the Passau harbor at 7:00ish this morning, tethering us side to side to another Viking ship. This put us on the outside edge and thus, to disembark, we walk out of our lobby, into their lobby, and out the other side! Cool beans. We are moored almost at the tip of the confluence point of the Danube, the Inn, and the Liz Rivers. We have another beautiful day weather wise once again, and once again it is forecast to be another hot one—up to 90 degrees. Our walking tour is scheduled for 9:30, so hopefully it won’t be too bad until after we are done.
Our city tour today was a good one. I personally think this is one of the more interesting ones we have seen. Würzburg was colorful and interesting but Passau looks like a town you would enjoy living in if that makes any sense. It has been hot and humid for sure. After getting back to the ship we sat on the top deck for a little while but it was just too warm so we have come to the lounge to enjoy the air conditioning and the views of Passau from our home away from home.

That is a pretty area. Sounds like you aren't escaping the high temperatures, like you would like. That is why we are so glad we aren't leaving Colorado until October. Loving all of the pictures and so thrilled you are having a wonderful time. Love you bunches! Your favorite daughter! (Ok...oldest daughter]!) =)

It's amazing to be able to reach all those cities by river. Your home away from looks quite comfy!

We’re enjoying following along on your trip, and love the pictures! So glad to see that the weather is cooperating, except for the heat. It seems like there is no escaping it!

Passau did look like a nice town to live in. Thanks for taking the time to share pictures from all of the German towns you visited. Now on to Austria!

Your pic of the high water mark is the same as mine except with the 2013 date added. We were there 6 weeks before the new water mark was added. Beautiful area...enjoy the cruise on down the river!!

The white church with the green crown reminded me of a church in Helsinki Finland we saw in 2017. Beautiful pictures and nice sunshine. Thank goodness for A/C
