A light rain was falling as we hopped in our last cab and headed to Heathrow Airport. We have thoroughly enjoyed our interactions with the London Cabbies. They have been very chatty and full of information about their city. They have to study 2-4 years in order to get licensed, and are very proud of their profession as well they should be. Ours today had done this for over 30 years!
Thanks to all of you who have followed us on this journey. We had a good time snd I am thankful that I was able to blog the whole trip. Sorry I didn’t have time to answer all of your comments, but we did read and appreciate all of them. Thanks so very much.
We are due to fly out of Heathrow around 3:00 local time…have no idea what that makes it at home! Home sounds great right now! Love to all.

We have so enjoyed your blog. We are currently riding in the pouring rain along side the Cook Inlet, Alaska on day 8 of a 10 day land tour of Alaska’s Princess Lodges. We sail on Saturday out of Whittier for inside passage cruise. Your blog has been very entertaining! Thanks.

It has been so enjoyable to travel with my Uncle John and Aunt Pat. It's fun to jump in your pocket and see the sights through your eyes. All from my office chair. ha ha.
