Baise, China

Hey Hey and a Big G'Day to ya
Well, all good things come to an end, this is the way of life.

I have been sharing beers with Kylie for nearing a year now and Leeanne for around six months. Both will be returning to the cleanliness, fresh air and beauty of the home land we all share. Judy will be staying on for another six months and as for me; I've no plans to return to Australia except to see family, friends and a breath or two of fresh air. Plus it would be nice to find toilet paper in a public toilet. Plus it would also be nice to find a toilet in a public toilet. Plus it would be nice to find a toilet door in a public toilet. Oh and plus it would be nice to find walls attached to that door in a public toilet.

Ok, where was I, oh yes, the girls will be leaving China's fair boundaries. Both have been great mates and both will be missed deeply. Who will be missed...um, who am I talking about...I've forgotten! OOPS, sorry you two! I'm sure Kylie is going to miss correcting my Shanelish and grammar. It was always fun when Kylie was around. I'd begin to talk and she'd correct and if Judy continues this she will be, I was going to say locked in a public toilet but there aren't any doors and walls. I guess I'll just have to belt her with a wok. I will miss the silly things Leeanne would do. It it's going to happen, it usually happens to Leeanne. I won't go into details but she's great to spend weekends with as something usually will and does happen. Kylie will be missed a lot. She became a great friend. We had our 'times' but so does every one when they are complete opposites. She was great to talk to and a heap of fun to be around.

Saturday we headed out with Brad (Policeman) and his girlfriend (Policewomen) to a new huge shopping/eating area. We had never been there before but decided to give it a try. We had a fantastic evening and the food was awesome. After dinner Brad wanted to continue into the early hours but I had pulled an all nighter with my friends in Tianyang the night/morning before so I decided on an early night.

Sunday we headed to our favourite place on 'Shopping Street'. It's been named this as once the girls step foot on it you can't get them away and I shake my head and pity the money in their wallets. Gary whom sadly left Baise for a distant town in Yunnan to teach arrived that day to join us for the girl's farewell. Other friends joined us and we ordered our usual feast of everything and more. The food was bloody awesome and the beer happily COLD! It may have been cold outside and it could be minus 20 but I'd still rather a cold beer.

Sadly the night ended just as their time in China had ended. We all headed for different bus stations and I sat cross legged for the hour long journey back to Tianyang and then ran home. Oh too much beer! Even beer has to end! Tee hee!

Good bye to Kylie and Leeanne, thanks for dropping in with your happy smiles and sharing a beer. It was a great time and I will miss you both...who are you? Oh I'm glad Kylies not here right now she beat me with a beer bottle! Shane xoxoxoxoxoxo
