Needless to say the weather has taken a turn for the extreme worst and it is now freezing in comparison to the weekend just past when it was like a trip to Thailand, just without Thai people, humidity, pad Thai, lemon grass or even tom yum soup so I guess as there wasn’t a King anywhere in sight then reality tells me it was actually like a bike ride around Xiane Lake followed by a wonderful dinner and evening with delicious Alisa.

As you will be able to tell from the photos, the past few weeks have been all about eating fish.

One night as Lithuanian Laima and I were searching for a new place to eat I turned my head to answer her and in a big eatery window across the road I saw a man turn a menu page and I could see what I thought were little pictures on it. So we raced over and discovered that not only were they pictures but pictures of some of the most delicious yet affordable food I’ve had here in Shangzhou.

Needless to say the fish is over the top tender and tasty!
But if you forget to ask for less chili it is also extremely bloody hot!
As I’ve been dating my way around the place lately I have found it to be the most wonderful find!

I have also found evidence of recent activity by Mulder and Scully who I’m sure have been here in Shangzhou on behalf of the X-Files investigating extraterrestrial and other paranormal activity. Alisa assures me the X’s are simply where newspaper headlines were once stuck but she has never heard of the X-Files and has no idea that the X’s I have found can be nothing other than Fox Mulder requesting the help of either Deep Throat or the RV full of Freaky Geeks that always seem to pop up out of nowhere. So I spent six hours last Saturday riding partially around our huge mountain lake in search of more evidence and anything that resembles a trail left by Mulder and Scully. I didn’t find anything but what I did find was a hell of a lot of sunshine, mountain trails and a beautiful girl waiting to be taken out to dinner when I returned.

But that doesn’t mean they are not here now nor have been here recently!
So of course she is wrong and I am right!
