Hey Hey and a Big G'Day toya,

Well Well Well.
Three holes in the ground.
And I managed to step in two of them.

This evening is my third evening here in lovely JinggangShan (JingGang Mountain) and I have totally fallen in love with the place which I must admit is a total turn around from how I felt on my first night. After almost an eight hour journey, several buses and waits from Fuzhou I finally arrived around dinner time. After finding a nice hotel for a much cheaper price than I was expecting I headed out and made my way down to the lake area.

It was absolutely stunning.

With a happy spring in my step I slowly made my way around the lake chatting to several uni students along the way and just as I was about to say good bye to the latest small group of uni students I stepped into a Tap Hole that had lost its cover and was hidden in the shadows and as I stepped back to try and regain my balance my other foot managed to find the edge of the footpath that of course had to have a deep gutter on the other side. So as my left foot slid into the gutter my right food got caught beneath the tap and I then felt an extremely hot pain from the bottom of my calf muscle all the way up through my thigh.

Since then two days and three nights have passed.

Most of each day I have spent in my room resting my leg and covering it in Tiger Balm, doing some stretches and after dark I head out and hobble around town to exercise. Tonight I managed to walk for around three hours which took me half the way to Longtan and back and going up the hill wasn’t so bad but coming back down was the real killer.

But I figured; hey you only live once so quit your bitching and moaning.
Some people don’t even have a single leg to actually have hurt.
So, let's get the 2013 Adventure restarted shall we.
