Hey Hey and a Big G'Day toya,

It’s not only about the temple!

Found squeezed between the cities beautiful Lake Park and the Grand Canal Opera Museum is my favourite part of Huai’An city. Each time I ride to the city proper it is always the first and last place I visit. It is a thriving little Temple District that not only comes complete with a Buddhist Temple and a Confucius Temple but also vibrant little alleyways full of people and snacks.

Not only can you buy snacks in the Temple District;

If at any point during your visit to either Buddha or Confucius or if you are like me just dropping to say G’Day Mate, you find yourself with a hanckering for a new dog or gold fish, Oh along with some of those little 'Tempily Knick Knacks & Odds & Ends’ (that no one really requires) then this is the place for you and there is even a little fun area for the kids to ride the merry-go-round etc while you relax with your snacks.

I took a ride down to the city proper today visiting little parks and gardens and alley ways between my school and the city and of course headed directly to the Temple of Snacks Area before grabbing a room at my usual Pod Inn. Tomorrow I’m going to meet Alisa for lunch before she heads back to study her Traditional Chinese Medicine in Jin’an in northeastern China.

After that, I guess I’ll head to wherever my front wheel takes me.
Because yes, the lucky one still has another two days off.
Beers N Noodles toya…..shane
