The Passing of the Three. She Will Lay To Sleep x

Hey Hey and a Big G'Day toya,

There she lay.
For far too many years in a fridge & a box.
Redrum, Redrum Redrum! little Danny did once say?
No one knew what to do with her lifeless body until this day.

A Scandinavian Navy man he was when he began his dreams.
Then he met a girl, fell in love, married her, her religion and her dreams.
He returned with her, the church bells rang and our futures were knitted at the seams.

Then the fires of cremation came, burning neither sins nor dreams. Just the lifeless body that laid dormant for so long. Fire can only take away so much but it can’t take away the memories that have been embedded into those such as myself, your friends and family.

Crispy sheets, flowers, endless conversation over many cups of tea.

Another Christmas is about to spring upon us, yet it will pass and go, just like those several decades of Christmases I spent with you some time ago. Spring did spring, flowers flourished as did you when you breathed. Now many seasons have passed as you lay waiting for your time to go.

Her father was sailing a leaky boat for far too many years. Paddling to find his never forgotten wife, his daughter and his son. Several days ago, his vassal sprung a leak and he was taken far beneath. It was then their arms he felt, their warmth of welcome from far above.

It is this little tale that I will now tell.
For those far far away and for those from Warragul.
Hush now, let babies go to sleep, for it is us adults now who will begin to weep.

A family?
Just a family so it seems.

A family, who has given their all to a small town with nothing but gratitude to tell. For timeless years her family has buried our beloved ones sadly not so far and in between. With their deep sympathies and their grievances and a warm smile that tells you that they understand not only your loss but also their own.

For they, knew them too!

With the passing of yet another of her family, she will be finally taken from the shelf, as will her mother. Their little boxes will be buried with the passing of her father which happened only several days ago. It is time.. IT IS TIME! Said the captain of the ship!
Forget the white whale, spill the spoil and let the fishes eat and sleep.

Far too many have been taken, let her lay within her parents arms and allow the stars to gather weep. For finally what they became they will become. The five elements they will turn and from their cup we shall drink. A new table, a frock and a new pair of shoes they and we shall will walk.

We will never forget them and forever we shall talk.
Talk of the good times, the bad times but never shall we mock,
For they are good folk, always caring about us, we small town folk.

Lay to rest, thy gathering of the three.
A family should never lose one, never be it more.
I cry now, but after 25 years with you, I can rest now, now that I know you can sleep.
