Polignano a Mare, Puglia, Italy
We arrived at Bari airport and parked on the outskirts of town for a couple of hours sightseeing.

We then drove to Polignano a Mare, our base for the next couple of days.

Next day, we drove to Monopoli for a look, then to Egnazia excavations and luckily found a beach on the way back for a bit of sun.

We also spent a day visiting The Grotte di Castellana are Italy's longest natural subterranean network of caves with stalagmites and stalagtites.

We returned via Conversano and its Norman castle.
