Its all topsy turvy

Hội An, Quang Nam Province, Vietnam
This morning I had to go back to the doctor as my everloving lump is still there. Every time someone has a go at bandaging it to cover the very small wound the bandage falls off. On Sunday it was at the nurses station next to My Le shop and today the lady doctor. Good old Johnsons bandaids are the best solution I found. Anyway I went to the doctor and her first query was "where is your wife". She had one look at my elbow and then said "go to hopital" and hopital it is. I always thought it was a grammatical error but when you look at a map its clearly marked "Hopital". So back to the shop and tried to explain to Na that I had to go to Hopital. I can't go unless I have an interpreter and Nhi was busy all day so its tomorrow for hopital. I had to have a foot massage of course and while Na was idly rubbing my legs My Le rang. I didnt have my hearing aids in so I only caught bursts of what she said, and it sounded like...Nhi.....doctor.....tell her.....then hopital. I said ok and when I got home Nhi rang her mother and it seems I have to go see the doc again and then.....hopital. I can't quite work out why but there it is. Nhi said avoid Hopital as they charge 1 million just to talk to you. Nhi also told me I cannot eat chicken, beef seafood or morning glory as it makes you scratch your wound. Before My Le left I asked her for some Panadol for the very slight pain in my elbow and she said , no they are for headaches.
The problem is I know exactly what is needed, simply open it up and drain it and maybe poke around for any debris of rose thorn.
And speaking of hopitals I heard a horror story last night off Geoff Shaw who runs the White Lotus. I had heard from My Le that he was devastated by the flood and it seems true. His staff deserted him and wouldn't help with the clean up and he was down to his last dong. My Le helped bail him out and now the place is up and running again and we had a good meal there. Geoff is an ex soldier who served in VN and one of his best mates Big Jim is an ex US soldier. A few nights ago Big Jim was waking across the road outside the resto when a young guy on an unlit motorbike hit him and smashed his leg. The cops came and grabbed the guy but who knows what will happen to him.
Tram texted me tonight ...I had baby.............What ???? You had a baby?
TRam....I had baby...........Me...You gave birth to a baby?
Tram....I am pregnant.
So she is getting married just in time.
