Moving day

Hoi An, Vietnam
After a very restless night on a bed of concrete complete with concrete pillow at the An Huy hotel I finally got to my room at Nha My Le in Cam Chau. The delay was caused because Ziggy had the room until the 8th when he flew back to Germany. Interesting character who had worked on pipelines in Siberia and grew up under communist rule in East Germany, not so bad he said, he got up in the morning and went to work and Stasi didn't bother him.
So i cooled my heels waiting all day for him to depart . I saw my "friend" Linh again and she gave me the big welcome in her cafe which looks legit now, not just a beer swilling house. I had a Bahn Mi for lunch and she said no problem, so she borrowed my scooter and went off to get the baguettes and eggs and whipped up a Bahn Mi Opla which is just fried eggs on a roll. Luke Nguyen whose strength in etymology I doubt very much says Opla is from the French just like he says Pho Bo is a perversion of the French term Pot a feu, stick to cooking Luke.
The eggs were a mess but I was hungry but when I went to pay, the simple Bahn Mi which is 20,000 in the street was 50,000, like top resteraunt price and the beer which was 12 or 15,000 is now 20,000. So no meals at Linh cafe again.
Steamy as hell today in Hoi An and a huge electrical storm tonight with no rain. I now have a scooter and will travel around a bit in the future.
Thanks for sticking with me so far peeps.
