It Was a Great Trip

We are home a couple of days now and slowly returning to our normal daily routine. The trip home from leaving Ramblas Hotel until arriving at our house was a little over 24 hours with almost no sleep on the plane for either of us. We flew from Barcelona to Istanbul and then Istanbul to Chicago. We were concerned about the Istanbul airport because of horror stories we had heard but our travel through there went as well as we could hope for.

I attempted to make the line on the map look a little more realistic so you may see 'Recently Updated' notes for the blog entries. I have not added any other comments. Also, if you could not view the Good Friday Procession video, and would really like to see it, let me know and I can email it to you.

Its been fun sharing our travel with you and its good to be home.

Glad you are home to rest up. I really enjoyed following you on your trip.
Sometimes wishing I was there with you. :)
One question. Why did you have to fly to Istanbul and then back. That was out of your way. Looking forward to seeing you and hearing more about it.

Yeah - that was backward. We used Turkish Air for best price and it seems all Turkish Air to US goes through Istanbul. We met people coming home from Rome having to do the same backward trip.
