At Sea, Kerala, India
Another day at sea as we continue our journey along the west coast of India. We have one more day at sea tomorrow before we get to Mumbai, so all the passengers with a Indian Visa were required to go and meeting Indian officials to get the relevant documents stamped. To try to reduce congestion, every cabin area was allocated a specific time for when they needed to turn up.

Our call time was at 8:30am, so we were a little grumpy (neither of us had been fed or watered) . We got even grumpier when it became apparent that you could have gone down at any point in time and as such we were at the end of a very long queue. Thankfully the long line moved relatively quickly and the progress was relatively painless.

Just before the Captains daily noon update, white paper bags magically appeared on the hand rails. These normally appear if we are heading into rough seas where people are likely to feel sick. I wouldn't say the sea was particularly rough however I did noticed that through the day the number of white paper bags available in the stairwell was slowly being diminished.

The remainder of the day was spent doing the usual 'at sea activities’, with dinner having an Indian Theme.

Our final activity for the day was to watch the first Hobbit film out on the pool. Unlike previous movie screening we’ve been to, this one was not hindered by rain or high winds.

Fun fact:
The smoke detector was accidently invented by a scientist experimenting with static electricity.
