Jackpot Bingo

Today marks the last day before we get to Southampton and with about 750 people due to get off, it was a day filled with saying goodbye and wondering who would win the Bingo jackpot – today was the day it had to go off regardless of how many numbers it took.

By the afternoon Bingo session, the jackpot was $3500. After a game filled with tension, it was won by three people. They all seemed happy with the idea of winning $1100 each. I was excited that I was only two numbers off winning.

Weather wise, we are certain that we are heading towards to UK. The days filled with sunny warmth are gone and instead it's cool, cloudy and windy. I’m sure people were still out on the deck chairs trying to work on their tans.

For the last dinner of the sector, we once again had a Baked Alaska parade. Once again our junior waiter Abdel carried the Alaska with pride. Much serviette waving was done by our table during the parade. Also as it was our last night with a couple of people on the table, Mum bought along some glow in dark bracelet’s to give dinner a little bit of pizzazz.

Fun fact:
The last two letters to enter the English alphabet were "J" and “U”.

3 x $1100 = $3300. Who skimmed the other $200?
