No organised trips today so a bus trip to Bondi Beach seemed In order.
Once we had overcome the confusion of the ticketing system, which has changed since last time we were here, the bus service was very good . Although quite busy we were able to get seats and were off to the 'sea-side'!
Everyone else seemed to have the same idea as the were quite a few people about; but by the time we had enjoyed a flat white at a local cafe looking out over the sea crowds had dispersed and we could enjoy a leisurely stroll through the various casual and beach wear shops to see the seasons ideas. Did n't really see anything I desperately needed- sad!
After a salad lunch, boy are we good, it was time to hit the beach.
Although quite rough, the sea is a beautiful blue and we stood being battered by the waves for a time. It was quite invigorating!
Finally it was time to soak up some rays so we took to the beach!. The white sand was warm and the sun so pleasant that a few hours passed quite quickly as we basked in the sun.
This was a very pleasant afternoon and a lovely way to spend our last day in Sydney; tomorrow we move on once again.
