Well sadly our time in Sydney has come to an end and we are about to embark on the next phase of our journey.
Promptly at 11-00 our taxi arrived to take us to the airport
. The check-in procedure was quite straight forward and there were no long queues; shows it was a domestic flight!
The airport terminal was quite interesting, an interesting selection of shops and a fair number of seat while you wait.
The flight took off and landed approximately on time and we soon found ourselves enjoying the magnificent scenery surrounding the airport. Very impressive!
It was a short drive to the hotel, strange that we have a car here and have to find our own way around. A challenge for the guys as they will do the driving!!
Our hotel is right on the Quay, a converted warehouse. It's been quite nicely done while keeping the original lines of the building.
Tomorrow we start to explore!
