Leeuwin lighthouse and no where to stay.

Busselton, Western Australia, Australia
Moving on again today having explored the area near the site we set off for the Leeuwin lighthouse. Quite a journey but quite interesting passing through little towns and catching glimpses of a very rough sea along the coast.
A really interesting walk around the lighthouse, information boards and buildings are quite informative . The lighthouse itself quite spectacular; apparently whole families were once employed here and lived on site in quite small wind swept houses. Don't think I'd have liked that much!!
We really enjoyed our tour but had made one error, the cafe had closed before our tour finished and we were all anxious to find a cup of tea. So off into the town; calamity all refreshment places closed, oh no!!
On the road again heading for the Margaret River area and a camp site for the night. We didn't know it was a public holiday in WA this weekend and all the sites we found were full.
On to Busselton, there must be somewhere there. It's dark we are hungry and in need of liquid refreshment when we arrived in the town. Still no luck with a camp site. Did find some caravan parking spaces and in desperation decided to park here. There were houses nearby and a campsite around the corner, must be ok.
Sustenance was the next order of the day and there just happened to be a pub nearby that also had a restaurant. Pizza and a very large glass of cider later the world was a much better place.
Decided to spend the night in the parking spaces as everyone too tired to go on, despite Dirks trepidation that we could face fines if caught parking overs night. Resolved to be up early to move on. Everything would be fine!!!
