Singapore, Singapore
It's raining this morning, only the third wet day we have experienced in the last two months, perhaps Perth is as sad to see us go as we are to leave.
Packing completed it was time to return our lovely RV and travel to the airport . RV had been our home for the last three weeks and had looked after us well most of the time.
Only ten minutes from Britt to the airport and we were soon checked in and ready for our flight. The airport was quite quiet that early in the morning so having checked out the shopping, no duty free because of so many onward flights, we sat to enjoy our last flat white before leaving. We've had a great time in Oz, seen so many amazing things, again it was a great experience and we hope one day to come back again.
Our flight left early! It was virtually full and service was not too good but I did manage to see the film 'La la land' and see most of the 'Fantastic beast' hoping it's available on the next flight.
Arriving in Singapore the heat and humidity hit us as we waited for our car but it's still pleasant to be enjoying the heat and have to keep remembering it's still only March.
Our welcome at the hotel was really superb, our duty club manager, Richie, was very welcoming and helpful. He explained how the Marina Mandarin Club worked and hen arranged for us to be shown to our room, where a 'surprise' was awaiting us!!
Trailfinders had arranged for us to be met with a bottle of champagne and the hotel had up graded us to one of the rooms with the most spectacular view across the harbour. AMAZING!!!!!
What a way to start our visit to Singapore.
