A lazy day in Singapore.

Singapore, Singapore
A lazy day today made even more so by the fact that it's raining, real rain the stuff we've not seen since Sydney over two months ago. So we decided to wander around the shopping mall this morning to get some exercise, have a look around and do some shopping.
The first thing we noticed was that the amazing under sea balloon sculpture had disappeared, not so much as a balloon fragment left . So glad we were able to see the whole thing yesterday.
Wandering around the shopping mall is quite interesting as there are so many things to see and the staff are so polite and pleasant.
As it always seems to in Singapore the rain disappeared in the early afternoon and despite the sun being rather reluctant to come out it was very pleasant sitting by the pool with a book (kindle actually) for the rest of the afternoon.
No luxury restaurant to night but we did find a rather nice Chinese place in Marina Square which provided quite a substantial feast.
Walking back through the mall later it was hard to imagine that tomorrow is our last day of the trip. It seems only last week we were setting out for Sri Lankan with that long stop over in Dubai, tomorrow night we have a similar stop over before the final leg of the journey.
Such is life, at least we have had an amazing experience again!
