Up way too early

Well, up before the crack of dawn today, 4am. Dad is giving us a ride to the airport, and he was already up and waiting, since 3:30.

Not much traffic on the way to the airport, mad it in really good time. Met Joann and Steve at the airport, as they were boarding a flight to Sweden, to visit Jackie Livedotte, from Zellers days.

Flight left at 06:15 and arrived at Pearson at 11:03 and we departed for Tokyo Haneda at 13:40. Arrived 13 hours and 11 minutes later. We met Yusuke Majima, managing director of Labo International, and his wife for a very short meet and greet.

From there we boarded our All Nippon Airways Boeing 777, with 400+ people aboard, and arrived in Osaka at 8pm local Sunday evening, which is 5am, Sunday morning Saskatchewan time. We then wrested all our luggage onto a Limousine bus and made our way to Osaka station. At Osaka station we got our JR Rail passes and made our way, via Subway, to the Best Western Joytel hotel. After checking in, we went to the Mister Donut and had a bite to eat, to a convenience store to get some snacks, and then back up to the hotel room, to pass out, after being up for some 29 hours straight.
