Tokyo to Vancouver

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Nice short 1 hour flight, and now we switch to Air Canada for our flight to Vancouver.

We did a little last minute shopping, as Narita Airport is massive, with all kinds of duty free shops and restaurants . We had a couple of hours, but they flew by, and then it was time to board the 787-8 Dreamliner, for our 8 hour flight.

This is a very nice plane, all the newest features, including a lack of window blinds. At the touch of a button, one can make the windows more opaque, up to completely dark. The video system is state of the art, but still lacks the number of channels, stations and features that Singapore Airlines had. I couldn't sleep at all, but Eve got a bit in, and we landed in Vancouver at around 10am local time.

We cleared Customs and spent a few hours in the A/C Maple Leaf Lounge, before going to board our CRJ100, quite a step down from the 787, for our 1 hour and 45 minute flight to Regina.
