Beach holidays in Latchi

I return to the room download my photos, put my bathing suite on and I come to the reception where I find my friend Gregoria . She tells me that she worried because she did not see me at all after breakfast this morning and she expected me to come for lunch.

The only thing I want is a cup of coffee and I sit with my friend and tell her about my short trip to Fyti.

Yianni the eldest son shows up with my coffee and a big piece of 'baklava'. I cannot resist this homemade dainty morsel by Anastasi. I remember having one last year when I visited my friends again.

The beach has many residents of the hotel and people coming from the round areas. Since yesterday when I arrived I already know several guests because throughout my stay I like chatting with tourists. My questions are all about holidays in Cyprus, I want to hear their impressions and if there is something they did not like. I always ask about their opinion about the hotel, and check if they know what there is to see in the round area . Of course I help them with tips and I suggest different alternatives and places they can go and the satisfaction I get is that they appreciate this help I give. If they are out to a place I suggested earlier they meet me and tell me all about it.

I feel like home here and I am not exaggerating. I only wished Gregoria had some free time. This lovely lady whom I love like a sister hardly stops the whole day long till late at night and what amazes me is that she cares a lot for each single guest.

When I ask her what is something she really likes to do the answer is…

"Time to Sleep Popi"!

The afternoon I came here and till the last day I left I took advantage of the crystal clear waters and the beautiful pebbled beach. The last day of my stay I decide I will stay in the premises and spend most of the time by the beach . Of course I return to the room for a short break to avoid the sun and return for some more exercising again in the afternoon. I take long walks, swim a lot and chat with several guests.  

Internet connection is free here so I have plenty of time to make all my phone calls, download photos and answer my emails. What else would I want!

I am among friends and I know that they are here for me.

There might not be any Spa treatment like I have in other hotels but the warm family hospitality, the amazing cuisine of Anastasi, the crystal clear waters of the beach are unbeatable.

I wish I had time to stay one or two days more but there is no way. I have to get back to Larnaca.
