Stunning view, Amazing cuisine!



I can say that each dinner is better than the previous one .

I could not believe my eyes when I saw among other things the Grilled Red Mullet. I was more amazed when I tasted it later on. It is unbelievable to find this in a 2.5* hotel!

I was asking my friend why she has only 2.5 * where the hotel could count for a 3.5* and my friend replies that it is because there is no swimming pool in the premises.

The beach however is one of the best …..I don't believe anybody would trade the beach for a swimming pool.

The pork meat on the spit (souvla) as it was presented -very soft and delicious is the other dish that surprised me. Cypriots love 'souvla’ and locals drop by because they know that the restaurant has excellent cuisine. Anastasi is popular for his dishes.

The casserole cooked food is also amazing and there are plenty of vegetables to accompany the meals .


The dips and variety of salads are ample. Local black or green olives are always in the menu! The green ones are called ‘tsakistes’ and they are broken up in the middle, kept in salt water for many days before they are ready. In the jar with the olives water is added and skin of a lemon and juice and a few cloves of garlic and coriander. Try them if you come here….they are amazing! And of course there is always seasonal fruit from the orchard of the owners and a cake.

The orchard is opposite the hotel so the fruit and veggies are always fresh. I have seen the owners carrying these in buckets directly from the orchards to the kitchen.

What can I say about the view from the terrace of the restaurant -it is stunning.

There are times when the Rock of Aphrodite seems much closer than it is, depending on the colors of the sky .

Little Argyroulla would show up a little after sunset and would cover the already lit lamp posts of the terrace with table clothes not only to keep insects that get around the lights away, but creating in this clever way a cozy and romantic atmosphere.

It is so beautiful out here anyway, no matter what time of day or night it is.

I am among those who return to the room very late when the rest have gone. In all other places I go to I am usually the first or second to leave for the room no matter how beautiful the place is. This feeling I have for specifically this place is strange. All three nights I am out here with nice company, and with the family around I feel wonderful. All these count a lot to me.

I truly long to return....it will be as if I am returning home!
