The Greek/Cypriot theme night!

Dining at the Seabreeze Beach Restaurant:

At 4:30 p .m I get to the beach again and swim for one more hour, and I walk all the way to the very last hotel towards Dhekelia to exercise. I remember some years ago I would walk 8 Kms each morning on this beach and then again in the afternoon taking the pedestrian side path next to the main road again. I would start from my sister's flat get to the last hotel and come back twice a day!

I come across people on the way whom I know and people whom I have not seen for years. It is a small world after all!

I am back for a shower, and later have a short walk in the beautiful gardens waiting for my sister to show up. I come to the beach restaurant by the pool. Waiters are setting the tables and chefs and cooks are busy setting the buffet benches. I ask a waiter what the theme night is this evening and I am glad that it is the Greek/Cypriot. I approach amazed with what I see. What a nice presentation this is!

I wonder if I have time to fetch the camera . I feel that I ought to have some pictures of this specific buffet because the presentation is unbeatable.

There are so many things I love to try this evening -anything that has to do with salads, especially the grilled vegetables.

I hurry to the room and return with the camera.

Every dish is like work of art in amazing colours!  

Well….let’s see! Will the taste be as good as the presentation?

I ask for a glass of some fine cool white wine that matches with what I have in the plate. The waiter comes back with two wines and wants me to choose the one I like most. So here I am enjoying this wonderful dinner still on my own waiting for my sister.
