The Last Morning at the Premises….
We are up early this morning, already in our bathing suites
. We plan getting to the beach after breakfast, swim for at least 2 hours -there is plenty of time till twelve noon when I am checking out.
But this was not meant to be…..
The moment we are closing the door behind us my sister receives a call. It seems she has to be in Larnaca in less than an hour.
My God! I cannot believe this that is happening –such bad luck! So, nothing comes as we planned but we cannot change things. This call has spoilt half of our day and she has to do some calls before she leaves, she is not in the mood of having breakfast either and urges me to get to the restaurant and have mine at least. She tells me that she will leave and return to pick me up at twelve noon if I want to and that is not a problem for her.
I find it unfair for her to leave all the way for Larnaca and drive back again to pick me up
. I honestly don't know what to say. I am so disappointed. There won’t be any beach, no swimming and no stroll this morning.
I get to the restaurant alone once again leaving her behind to do her calls. I don’t feel that comfortable without her around so I decide to finish breakfast the soonest and check out. I come to the reception and tell them that I am leaving earlier.
I know that if things don’t come as we want them to be, we should accept it.
I am not that ungrateful because my two week trip was amazing. I can do without beach and without a stroll isn’t it?
I am ready to return to Greece, back home and I have already missed everyone.
My coming trip to Cyprus will not be earlier than the end of September, probably the beginning of October
.
There will certainly be more trips around the mainland of Greece when I return but I have not as yet made plans where we shall be heading to this summer.

Just get your cosi out Poppi, fill the bath up,get the dark glasses on, nice bottle of wine, you will be back on the beach before you know it !!!!!! and not a russian in sight !!!!!
