ARRIVING AT KOS



1st Day



The trip from Athens to Kos is just 35 minutes by plane . Our car is waiting for us at the airport and it's a Fiat Panda for just 23 euro a day.

Of course we have booked the car 2 months ago!

We have a 25 minute drive to the centre of Kos and come to our 3 star hotel TRITON. It is a newly renovated family ran hotel. The location is unbelievable. Even if I had the choice to book at a 5 star hotel in another area I would still prefer this hotel.

The location is unique, the hotel perfect, and the people who work here, so helpful and friendly.

We get most of the information on how to move around and picking the best destinations and special places to eat from Zoi. She has become our advisor and we owe much to her. She is the kind and smiling woman at the reception.

The hotel is just 5 minutes walk from the centre which is very popular and full of tourists.

The hotel is just on the beach and there are all sorts of shops around. People are swimming just two steps from the street across. Every now and then we see ships and sailing boats coming in or leaving Kos. Opposite in some distance, we can see Turkey.   It is so interesting and we can't wait to explore the whole island....and who knows, even other places too!!

Kos is full of PALM trees, full of life, and beauty. It is still May and it is full of tourists!
