The New Acropolis Museum

The day is lovely, and I made plans to visit the new Museum today .

I am anxious to see the exhibits and the new building so I was there at 9.30 am.

The queque was not long, and soon I was in the building, after a check by the authorities , like the one we have in airports.

I was waiting for 5 minutes outside, but getting inside I found that I had to wait in another queue for about 15 more minutes.

The fee: Just ONE EURO. (one Euro was because it the time I visited the Museum was almost free for visitors)...of course now people pay but I really have no idea what the cost is.

The new building is so spacious, and I want to take as many photos as possible.

On the way to the entrance, the floor is designed in such way, that the ground underneath can be seen. The whole area under the museum is an ancient city with colorful mosaics, pots, rooms with gutter pipes which make the place the Museum built on, unique.

I tried to take many photos, but the reality is something else. This cannot be described so well, unless one experiences it.
