When owners are Not Professionals -Disappointing!

Imagine If YOU Experienced Something Similar!
Starting from Athens we were on a week's tour around Evia . The first visit was Kymi, then driving all the way to the northern side visiting the Spa city of Edipsos in a totally different direction, return to the south again to spend one night at this hotel before driving all the way back to Athens for a stay of 3 more nights at St. George Lecabettus Boutique hotel.
Our booking at Felion was arranged at least 2 weeks before. Three days before arrival, the owner Mrs. Ageletou calls me herself to assure confirmation, telling me that she is looking forward to meeting me, and me telling her that I have already made appointments and arranged to see certain locals, different businesses and take photos of the highlights of Nea Styra.
Up to this point, I had the best impressions!
But things turned upside down 3 days later when we showed up.
Nobody behind the reception, dead silence on the whole floor. I take the lift and get to the ground floor leaving behind my companion. The owner appears totally surprised, she cannot remember my name which I find ridiculous and in my attempt to help her recall her memory I remind her that I am on my tour and that she herself rang me up 3 days back to assure of our arrival. She still cannot remember, until I mention my profession.
During the process of making her remember I felt so humiliated!
The excuse was that Venere.com sent her unexpectedly guests late that previous night. She should have had at least the decency to contact and inform me of the situation. Neither Venere nor any other Agent would send anybody out of the blue without being assured that there is vacancy.
Imagine if this happened to you or any of your family or friends!
Wow! With a bit of difficulty she at last remembers but her excuse was not good enough to convince me. Throughout all this time she had an ironic smile on her face, but alas she did not realize how unprofessionally she treated the whole situation.
Instead, the whole of that day was wasted. Plans, Activities and Appointments, all had to be cancelled. I was so disappointed that the only thing I wanted that moment, was to leave.
I could have easily gone to the neighboring St. George Hotel & Rooms, a hotel that I highly recommend and have visited several times in the past. The owners are loveable and professionals, the service impeccable and is very close to the beach.
Naïve that I would receive at least a word of apology after the email I sent, but alas!
It proved that the whole idea of staying here was a very Bad Choice.
In all, I leave my readers and followers worldwide to decide themselves if they wish to book here or not. I would never.

Derrick, that day I did not, but I have visited the place several times in the past.
This is what happens when owners are not professionals!
That day I drove 35 kms further than this place and we returned to leave luggage and get to the village for photos. It was humiliating.

I would be upset too. Who wouldn't? Not even an apology!! This is not on their benefit at all.
