A Windy Afternoon -Beach Activities!

Dust in the Air:

I am up early as usual but the picture of sunrise is disappointing this morning

.The atmosphere is not clear due to dust from the Sahara Dessert -something common in Cyprus.

It had been perfect so far in every way –the sea warm and beautiful with plenty of sunshine. Despite the dust I am out early for my typical but very enjoyable walk.

Endless Beach Leisure:

Here at Poseidonia I spend endless hours by the beach swimming and sunbathing.

At times when I feel hot I walk as far as the Beach Bar for a glass of beer, and when I get a bit sleepy I go for a Greek frappe.

Chatting with other guests is something I enjoy a lot and I have a bunch of holidaymakers who greet me by name as we walk pass each other

Sudden Wind:

It is afternoon and still out by the beach, ever since breakfast.

The wind finds me in the sea swimming and chatting with other guests.

Earlier we noticed clouds approaching rapidly but the chat was interesting, the water a delight and at first we did not seem to bother.

A few who are swimming around us leave the water, and it was not long when the sea got rough so one by one we followed the rest.

View from the Suite:

I return to the suite, have a shower and get to the window to have a quick glimpse of what is happening outside

Can't stop watching the gliding outside.

.

We the rest might have left the beach but for some others, this was the perfect timing to enjoy gliding their beach sport .

It was fun watching them through the window of the suite as I was getting ready for dinner. Earlier before the wind broke out, several others were playing at the volleyball courts of the premises.
