Omodos happens to be one of the most picturesque villages of Cyprus that hasn't changed much in the centuries .
I set off for a stroll in the village right after breakfast and walk through the graphic streets and narrow lanes, to the main plaza.
The Square:
The square is relaxing and lined up with restaurants on both sides. There are quite a lot of little shops lining the streets selling local products, foodstuffs and wines, hand-made lace, silver, pottery and icons.
It is true, it is quite commercial but some of the stuff that is sold is original and interesting.
