Easter Sunday

Hot Springs, Arkansas, United States
Leaving Yuma Tennessee was a bit later than our usual departure time, we enjoyed bacon and eggs and took our time tearing down. We were very impressed with the campground and were even invited for Easter dinner. (The owners hosted Easter Dinner for all the campers).

We jumped back on I-40 and headed west once again . Memphis was no problem and crossed the mighty Mississippi into Arkansas. The topography, vegetation and landscape was really no different from what we have been seeing for days in Tennessee.

We decided to not stay in Little Rock and opted for Hot Springs. There are several huge lakes there. We drove through a National Park but it was full and drove through Hot Springs to another RV park along one of the lakes.

This park is nice, although rather small. It had all of the goodies we were looking for and enjoyed our day here. The weather was superb with full to partly cloudy sun, light breeze and temperatures in the upper 70's. After a supper of chicken-Dolly and pork, me we took a sunset stroll down to the lake then Dolly talked with her family while I started this.

We hope you had a wonderful Easter, and thanks for your well wishes.

Tomorrow - Durant, Oklahoma. Goodnight!
