Durban to Game Park

Entabeni Game Reserve, Limpopo, South Africa
Up early for breakfast then onto the bus to the Durban airport. Flighing to Johannesburg.
There was a delay at the airport because the bags took so long to come off the flight.

There we were met and put on a bus to the Game Park.It was a 3 hr Drive but got extended because of the road works on the highway. The Highway out of Johannesburg was in good condition having four lanes for some distance .We had to stop several times for Tolls and a Vehicular checks, also a comfort stop.
The toll gates were approx every hour.
The country side was fairly dry and baron except where was irrigation, these irrigated paddocks were very green and stood out from the rest of the surrounds,All along the main highway there were labor's picking up the rubbish which made the highway very tidy but drive around the corner onto a secondary road it was a different story.

We turned off the highway just after Mokopane onto a shingle road which was very corrugated and rough.

Arriving at the Legend Resort about 2:30 - 3:00pm. We were booked in for lunch which we did not start until 3:30 pm which did not leave enough time to go on the evening safari, which really was not a big problem as there were plenty of opportunities to do this over the next few days. The beer up there was very cheap a couple of stubbies costing $4.60 nz.

The unites we stayed in were 5-10 mins from the main complex so we had to take a shuttles each time we moved about. The unit I was in backed onto another one and the next unit was 50-60 meters away so it was very quite. But there was no info of the activities in the units. The only problem was you had to watch where you put your feet as the Zebras wander around the units.

We had a get together meal at night, where we were told of the activities that we could take advantage of,but no pamphlets
