Today is the day we finally embark on our much anticipated trip to SE Asia. We are travelling on Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong where we will spend 3 nights. We arrive in Hong Kong on the evening of the 6th January.   We checked into Cathay Pacific expecting to have a really amazing flight after hearing so many good things about them over the years. Disappointed to find them blended into the sameness of all airlines nowadays – jam the passengers in and get them to their destination! Flight departed late but 14 ½ hours later arrived, rather squished and crumpled but happy to at last be here in Hong Kong.
